Formatters, validators & diff
Beautify, minify and validate JSON, YAML and XML, or compare two snippets with a unified diff — free and 100% in your browser.
- JSON Formatter — Read a Minified Payload Indent JSON with the numbers left exactly as written. A twenty-digit ID keeps its digits and 1.0 stays 1.0, so you read the response, not a copy.
- JSON Minifier — Fewer Bytes Over the Wire Strip whitespace from JSON. Numbers keep their written form and strings keep their escapes, so the payload gets smaller and stays the same.
- JSON Key Sorter — A Diff You Can Review Sort JSON object keys alphabetically, at every level. Two files sorted the same way diff on what actually changed, not on key order.
- JSON Validator — The Line and Column to Fix Check that JSON parses, with the line and column when it does not. You go straight to the character that broke it instead of hunting for it.
- YAML Formatter — Comments and Anchors Survive Re-indent YAML while what it says stays put. Your comments and anchors come through, so the file is still the one you want to commit.
- YAML Validator — The Line Where It Stops Check that YAML parses: indentation, quoting, anchors, duplicate keys. When it stops parsing, you get the line, so you know where to look.
- XML Formatter — Read a One-Line Document Indent XML while what it says stays put. An element mixing text and children keeps its line, because in XML those spaces are content.
- XML Minifier — Smaller, and Says the Same Strip the indentation from XML. Text spacing, attribute values, comments and the prolog stay, so the document shrinks and still means what it meant.
- XML Validator — Find Where It Breaks Check that XML is well-formed: one root, every tag closed and nested, names and characters legal. The first break is named where it happens.
- HTML Formatter — Read a Page’s Source Reindent HTML. Inline elements keep their line, because a line break between them is a space on the page — the source reads, the page stays put.
- HTML Minifier — A Lighter Page, Same Layout Strip the whitespace from HTML. Attribute values and the spaces between inline elements are kept, so the page gets smaller and looks the same.
- CSS Formatter — Read a Minified Stylesheet Reindent minified or messy CSS. One declaration per line and your comments kept, so a stylesheet you did not write becomes one you can follow.
- CSS Minifier — Bytes Off Your Page Weight Strip the whitespace from CSS. Strings, url() contents and /*! licence comments are kept, so the stylesheet gets lighter and still renders the same.
- JavaScript Formatter — Read a Minified Script Reindent JavaScript. Strings, template literals and regular expressions come through untouched, and so do your comments — the code still runs.
- JSON Diff — See Which Value Changed Compare two JSON documents. Indentation and key order are neutralised first, so what you see is what actually differs — down to the last digit.
- Text Diff — A Patch You Can Paste in a Ticket Compare two texts line by line and get a unified diff, the same shape git prints, ready to paste into a ticket, a review or a chat message.
